G-Prime A great album of mostly (oddly uncredited) covers. Bombing Mission from FF7, Streets of Desolation from Batman (NES), Stranger Things, etc. A great debut, but Shredder 1984 should really think about adding some credits on the BC page here to avoid any legal troubles.

SokK For a first album, Synth City is a pretty cool release ! Sometimes, it feels like a little bit all over the place, but as long as Shredder 1984 keeps shredding Synth Lines like Guitar Riffs, it's a blast ! Favorite track: Akira.

Olivia Mutant-John When I think of Shredder, I think of a menace encased in spikes and metal. And this album is much the same. It's a powerhouse, a juggernaut.

Full of bass and distortion, with slasherwave synths and outrun's paranoid vibes.

Speaking of paranoia, even when the synths are bright and orchestral (like the SUSPIRIA-esque "Bombing Mission") they only serve to lull you into a false sense of security before the next onslaught.

If you love brutal, aggressive synth, I cannot recommend this album more.
